The Education Committee, comprising Censors of the PHM, OEM
and AM Sub-specialty Boards, is responsible for all training and education
matters of the Hong Kong College of Community Medicine.
The Terms of Reference of the Education Committee are: |

| a. |
To advise on the training issues of trainees in all
sub-specialties of the College. |
| b. |
To set up a formal system for training, assessment and accreditation
of specialists in sub-specialties. |
| c. |
To maintain a registry of trainees, trainers and examiners of sub-specialties. |
| d. |
To review the training system regularly. |
| e. |
To recommend on training and consider on education matters proposed
by Sub-specialty Boards. |
| f. |
To accredit training institutions of sub-specialties through an
accreditation Sub-Committee. |
| g. |
To maintain the Continuous Medical Education records by its fellows
through the CME Sub-Committee. |

The Terms of Reference of the Training Centre Accreditation
Committee are: |
| |
| a. |
To visit each training centre at least once every five
years. |
| b. |
To submit reports to Education Committee for endorsement after visits. |
| c. |
To update the College on the status or any other relevant information
in writing regarding their trainees, trainers, training programmes,
workload and facilities at least annually. |

to develop a framework and criteria for CME requirement
of fellows in accordance with the requirements of Hong Kong Academy
of Medicine. |

to approve applications for accreditation of Formal College Approved
Postgraduate Meetings |
| c. |
to collect, monitor & maintain the CME reports of fellows |
| d. |
to prepare the CME report of the College |
| e. |
to assist in liaison work related to CME issues |
